I will not provide direct links to any of these gems.
You can google them easily on the side of the blog.
And now....
To start off...
World of Warcraft private servers, Ive personally tried plenty, some nice for raids, some for a more overall feel to WoW(thats free of course :D ). Some servers dedicate themselves for scripting raids, a heavily scripted raid is much fun sometimes if you have friends to play with. But some dedicate themselves for population. It means loads of people in a single server, but it may mean less manageability for GMs but yet you also meet tons of people. One such server I played in was Wowscape (search in google), I used to play in WowLegion alot and still do sometimes. If you need more info, feel free to email or leave a comment ^^ .
Another of one of my old-time favourites, Source. CS Source, Team Fortess 2, HL2 deathmatch..... all free. (Search for digitalzone in google.) They release recent updates to Source Engine based games(and a few others). All of which you can play on LAN easily or you can play online through their collected list of private servers(which most of them have pretty nice latency).
Ok, heres one you can earn some cash with(or so I heard), Its some kinda blog type website where you can set up your own websites called lens, if you get more people to visit them the more you get. It has no limit on how many you can build. Heres how it works, the advertisers it has on all its lens earns 'royalites', you can donate them to charity or send them to your paypal account. So the more lens you have, the more chances for more cash you get. If you are onto this, try Squidoo. Heres my lens, havent put much into it yet, but more will come.
Next...
Heres something important somewhat. Can You RUN it? is a good site for checking out system requirements from old gems to real new out-of-the-oven games. This is really nice especially when you got a new computer or laptop and you really wanna try out if you can play any games before you go through the hassle of installing them. Really useful.
This will be all the time I have for now. I will bring you more next week. Stay tuned.
Kelly
